I’m Mike O’Brien, and PuzzlePup grew out of my tiny Rochester kitchen with my service dog, Normie, watching every batch. I was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. After several surgeries I’m now part of a Mayo Clinic research study aimed at helping my heart grow stronger. Living with a half-sized heart has taught me to celebrate small victories—like a tail thumping on the floor or a dog leaning in for a treat. Those moments pushed me to bake something I could be proud to share. Every cookie is hand-mixed from five familiar, human-grade ingredients.
